Terms of sale

1. Purpose

These terms govern the sale of personalized portraits produced by Unique Portrait from a photo supplied by the customer.

2. Prices

Prices are shown in US dollars ($), all taxes included. Any shipping costs are stated before you confirm your order.

3. Ordering & personalization

When placing an order, the customer uploads a photo. The customer warrants that they hold all rights to that photo and authorizes its transformation into an illustration. A preview is provided before printing; free edits are available until you approve it.

4. Payment

Payment is made online at the time of ordering, using the methods offered on the site. Orders are processed once payment has been received.

5. Timelines & shipping

The digital preview is instant, inside the configurator. Prints are then produced and shipped according to the format chosen. Timelines are indicative.

6. Right of withdrawal

Under Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to personalized goods made to the customer's specifications. As our portraits are made to order, they cannot be taken back once production has started — except in case of a defect (see our Refund Policy).

7. Satisfaction guarantee

We rework your portrait free of charge until you're satisfied, before printing. If a print is defective or damaged, we reprint it at our expense.

8. Complaints & mediation

For any complaint, contact us through our contact page. We do our best to respond as quickly as possible.

Under Articles L.612-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, if a dispute remains unresolved, the customer may refer the matter free of charge to a consumer mediator:

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law.
